Mark W. Schaefer is a marketing faculty member at Rutgers University and the executive director of U.S.-based Schaefer Marketing Solutions. He has nearly 30 years of global sales and marketing experience, and advanced degrees in marketing and applied behavioral sciences.
He is an award-winning business writer, university lecturer, and innovator, receiving seven international patents for new product ideas with Fortune 100 companies. Schaefer has supported a variety of organizations with social media strategic initiatives, including global companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Cisco, regional companies such as Miratel and Communications Resources Inc., businesses in the nonprofit sector such as The Helen Brown Group and United Way, and economic development and government organizations such as the UK government Trade and Investment group.
